Playdough Christmas Cookies
TatO
This is my son eating a raw tomato (he calls it a ta-tO) as though it were something as delicious as a strawberry.
Enjoying Ethiopian Food
We stopped by a farmer’s market today and had some Ethiopian food for lunch. We love it that we have a baby who enjoys trying new things. He loved the red lentils and injira. yum!
Exploring the African Savannah
We went to the zoo today and saw some amazing animals! Sam was really into the giraffes. We watched them for a long time. After that, Sam spotted a lion pointed to it and said “lion”. Yay for new words!
Puppets & Trucks
I miss the days when Sam would flash big, beautiful smiles every time the camera came out. This was the best I could do today.
Last snack in the baby seat
Sam has outgrown his infant car seat. I cleaned it out this afternoon and found a ton of bunnie snack crackers beneath the cover. Sam saw it out and crawled into it for one more snack. Now I need to clean it again!
Home-made playdough!
Mess maker
This morning Sam grabbed some old sprinkles out of the pantry. Thinking he’d shake the container a little, I let him have it. I forgot that his PT taught him how to unscrew caps at his last evaluation. (what was she thinking?) Before I knew it, all of the sprinkles were on the floor and Sam was having a grand time refilling the little bottle. I let him play for awhile, and then it was time to clean up. Sam likes to sweep the floor, but he mostly spreads the mess around! I’m looking forward to the day when he figures out how to use the dustpan.
